Ayesha Takia Azmi has been an actor in Hindi films since 1986. In 2004 Ayesha Takia won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance as the lead in Taarzan The Wonder Car which made her debut as an actor. The actress then appeared in a number of popular films, including Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010).
